Getting Started: A step-by-step example

  1. Step 1. Sign in. (Your profile information is kept confidential.)
  2. Step 2. Select the add verse menu option.

  3. Step 3. Select a book and enter the reference and text. (Tip: you can optionally copy & paste from another source.)

  4. Step 4. Below the text, set the verse's status to Active. If you're just starting out, leave the rotation position set to "Daily" so that you review this text each day. Click Create to add the verse to your rotation.

  5. Step 5. That's it! You can now view your new rotation by selecting the "Default Box" link at the top.

When you feel like you're retaining that verse and ready to add another, simply go through the same steps above. For example, adding another verse would automatically move the first verse to the next position in the rotation as shown below.

Scripture Box is all about making this process convenient and automatic, and reducing those common hindrances that keep us from being consistent in reviewing. A number of tools are included to help you:

  • Email Delivery. Start reviewing your verses/texts right from your inbox. See a step by step example.
  • Multiple Boxes. Using multiple boxes is a great way to allow different family members to work on different sets of verses or the same verses at different paces.
See a step by step example.
  • Custom Books. If you're memoring texts other than Scripture, you can create custom "books" to categorize those texts according to your preferences.
  • General Settings. Scripture Box provides a number of settings that can be customized according to your preferences.
